+ DO YOU GIVE INSTRUCTIONS WHEN TAKING PHOTOS?

During engagement sessions, you might see me do a lot of talking and directing because it is our first time working together. From there, you’ll get to see how I work and get comfortable with me. On your wedding day, I might be quieter and I promise you, it is totally OK. No, I am not sick, no I am not exhausted. I don’t do as much directing because the most beautiful moments happen organically. I’ll be there capturing all the thoughtful details and meaningful small moments. I want you to actually enjoy your wedding day and spend time with your people. When it comes to photos that you are not sure what to do, I am more than happy to help too. I will be there to support you and celebrate with you!

+ WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

I'm based in Auckland, New Zealand, but I travel all over the country & world to capture love stories.

+ HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?

Each one of my packages varies in how many images are delivered, but I promise I will include plenty of images of everything I capture. I don't like to give a cut-off number because I don't believe in withholding any images from you to get you to pay more. These are your memories, I promise to capture them fully and give you more than enough images to remember this time in your lives.

+ HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

Firstly, I'll send you a handful of sneak peek shots a couple of days after your wedding. 5 to 7 weeks later, you'll receive a link to your online gallery to watch and relive your wedding day. The online gallery allows you to share your photos worldwide, download images for unlimited times & creating 'favourite' lists. You can also order prints directly from the gallery by clicking the cart button.

+ HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

It will take roughly 5 to 7 weeks to receive your final wedding photos. I put a lot of love and care into perfecting each image, which is why it'll take me a little bit more time to deliver your final images. If you'd like your photos sooner, please ask me about the rush fee.

+ WHAT RIGHTS DO WE HAVE?

You have all rights to download, print, and use your photos for personal purposes. Photos come to life when printed, if you need help with making an beautiful album, let me know!

+ DO YOU GIVE AWAY RAW UNEDITED IMAGES?

No, as I believe that editing is half the magic that goes into images and without this huge step the images are only halfway done. I promise to never leave any photos out that you’ll want/need, and if you feel I missed delivering a photo, just ask! I’m more than happy to check back through my images and send it over to you.

+ WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING?

Heaven forbids this to happen, as it would only happen if it were out of my control (act of God, illness, death, etc) but in this case, I would do my best to help find a replacement photographer to take my place that I trust with a similar style, although I’m not legally held to do so. If I can’t make it to your wedding your money will be refunded.

+ WHAT HAPPENS IF COVID HITS AGAIN?

It is free to postpone your wedding to a new agreed date due to any Covid-19 related reasons, as long as I am available on your new date. However, if you choose to cancel your wedding, the initial payment is non-refundable.

+ WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL OR MOVE MY BOOKING?

Life is complicated and the unexpected is to be expected. The deposit is non-refundable as this helps to protect my business due to turning away all other bookings for your wedding date. I hope you understand that deposit is insurance for my business to stay afloat in the event of a cancellation.

+ CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP US?

I don’t alter the way you look other than skin blemishes or anything temporary that would not normally be there (bruise, scrape, acne, etc unless you’d like me to keep it the photos). If you’re self-conscious about something, please let me know as I’ll be sure to be extra aware of that while I’m posing you.

+ what if there's bad weather?

I always encourage embracing whatever weather comes our way, as it is beautiful and unique in photos. Some of my favourite photos are shot in the 'not-so-ideal' situations. It is all part of the experience and memories on your special day. However, if it is harsh enough to make our shoot a shitty time, we can just reschedule or look for an indoor location. 

+ how do payment schedules work?

I require 30% initial payment to secure your spot on my calendar, and the remaining 70% is due 30 days in advance for weddings, 14 days in advance for shoots. 

+ what do we wear for photos?

I've got an outfit guide that I'll send over, don't worry! You can always send me some photos of your options and I can help you decide.

+ Do you travel for weddings or shoots?

You bet I do! Nothing excited me more than the opportunity to shoot a destination wedding or elopement!
